ER LIFE

I went into work and took care of a patient who did her hair and makeup took 5 valiums and went to Walmart where she got into a motorized cart and began bashing into the walls. Needless to say paramedics were called and in she came. She told me she wasn't suicidal she just needed some time off work. Did I mention that is her place of employment? I told the staff I was going to take my WOW (wireless on wheels) and start bashing it into the walls and then maybe I could have a rest. That led to all of us decorating our wows and racing them down the back hall where no one could see us. We had fun for a few minutes then back to work.

showings

I am appreciating all the showings I have had with the house in this housing market. I've had 15 in the last 6 weeks. No offers yet but I am encouraged that people are out there looking. I've decided to stop watching HGTV as my house will never look anything like the showrooms on their shows no walkin closet no master suite blah blah blah just a house. I don't want to think no one will want the house that I've loved for 20 years. I look out the back at the wetlands with all the colored leaves and wonder if I will miss it and then I think of snow and think NOT

Florida 07

I just returned from my trip where I was storing up the sun in preparation for the coming winter. It was good to catch up with the people I know at the pool. I have been going down yearly for the last 13 years and twice a year for the last 4. I really enjoy that group of people. Makes me happy that the house is for sale and soon I will not have to deal with winter anymore. I am looking forward to walking on the beach as part of my weekly landscape instead of biannual.

Birch Run

I had my yearly shopping and sleepover extravaganza at Birch Run in Sept and had a blast with the girls. I don't always care about the shopping but we just have such a good time laughing and relaxing.
