Going against tradition

I just ripped down old disgusting gutters and installed new rainhandlers which are sections of angled levers that wick the water away from the foundation. I got a lot of negative comments from people which surprised me. I think human nature is such that we have a certain comfort zone and way of doing things and it ends up being an almost automatic knee jerk response to react negatively to new things. I love them and will never have to clean out gutters again so I am glad I forged ahead they were also cheaper

Enjoying the rest of the summer

Well my massive overtime campaign is winding down I will be done on Saturday, I have been collecting a pile of books I want to read and plan on just relaxing for the next 2 months. I really love my books and feel no guilt whatsoever spending money on them. Some women like clothes and jewelry I like books I would in time like to makeover one closet in the den into built in shelves and house all my books I like to keep them and reread them.
