Hoarding

Working on my neighbors house which is where I will be staying after the closing. She is a hoarder and has a difficult time throwing anything out. I am the exact opposite I hate clutter and being surrounded by junk you haven't used in 10 years. If you add up the money spent on 60 pairs of shoes 150 t shirts etc etc it makes me shudder to think of the retirement she has thrown away on crap. Clothes with tags on QVC boxes unopened. I have my work cut out for me on the upside banking a check every month will make it all worth it. I will have no debt and that is very freeing. Onward to my new life and career I go, totally unencumbered.

Offer on the house

I accepted an offer on the house and hopefully if there are no surprises with the inspection the closing date will be April 21st and I can get all my stuffed crammed over to Judy's before my Hawaii adventure. It will be a relief to be done with the showing and haggling part of the program. This will give me an opp to seriously bank some cash in preparation for my work sabbatical/move to sunny climes. I can't wait!!

winter blues

We had a brief taste of spring yesterdy morning 50 degrees and rain and then winter is coming back to slap you in the face 20 degrees and 3-6 inches of snow tonight. This winter has dragged on forever! At least I have San Fran and Hawaii to look forward tooI'm getting my camera ready
