life's frustrations

I can handle big calamities easily, catastrphic events, no problem I'm your girl. But dealing with companies customer service depts make me want to tear my hair out. After registering online at AT&T so I can autopay my bill I have to switch to another site to actually view the bill and set up auto pay, the new site won't take my password or ID nor would it allow me to re register so I decide to call the company. I am on hold for 25. Once I speak to a representative and she takes all my info she informs me I have to speak to another representative since I have a combined bill and she is with the wireless side. The next rep takes all my info and then informs me that her superior won't take the info from her I have to give it to her personally, I am placed on hold again. The second rep comes back and says her boss is on another call and is handing me off to someone else the Great Oz I presume. The last rep takes my info and informs me that she can not complete the transaction as she is with dsl not home or wireless. When I asked if they use computers and was my account not in front of her the sarcasm and irony seeked lost on her. I'm not sure I wasn't speaking with the pentagon or some other bloated beaurocratic government agency with 10 people trying to do one job and failing miserably. Wasted 1.5 hours of my life.

Not a total waste. A waste for you maybe, but a cash windfall for the 10 people taking all of your personal information. You only think you can handle calamities and catastrophic events....
identity fraud takes the wind right out of your sails!! Good Luck with that!
