Thank God our Leaders Are So Smart

I'm so glad the very people that gave AIG 150 billion dollars to bail out the greedy bastards that helped put us in this situation were smart enough to deny the Big Three a bridge loan. I can rest easy at night knowing my future is in the hands of our intelligent leaders. I'm also grateful that they knew enough to not grill said bastards over their business plans or their executive bonuses I would hate to see things change with government. I will rest easy knowing that the top 5 percent of this country will continue making the financial gains they have enjoyed for so long while the rest of us have stagnated in wages and benefits since 2001. I also hope everyone remembers the names of the ones who voted against this when a year from now the ripple effects of this have been felt and that includes the West Coast. I feel secure in the knowledge that the 170 billion that my children will be paying off for the rest of their lives was well spent. What a relief
